READY FOR THE SEASON
Changes and improvements take shape at Classic Club
G
olf season in the Coachella Valley is about to kick into
high gear, and we couldn't be any more ready for it.
That's mostly because of the projects we set in motion and
accomplished during the off-season.
Let's start with the golf course. We shut it down for a
month in mid-October to overseed and allow for the
summer bermuda grass to make way for winter
rye, which accounts for the emerald green hue the
fairways will take on in the coming months.
When we re-opened on November 15, the course
was really starting to take shape – and it's only
going to get better as the new grass matures.
That's not all. If you've visited us online lately you'll
have noticed a revamped website (classicclubgolf.com),
featuring a state-of-the-art responsive design built for optimal
viewing across all devices. From there, you can learn about our
property, book tee times, and see what's going on at Bellatrix
Restaurant – which recently unveiled new lunch and dinner menus
that feature fresh dishes perfectly suited for the season.
Finally, I'd like to welcome Dr. Lynn Beasley to our teaching
staff. Her innovative and cutting-edge approach to golf instruction
raises our lesson programs to the next level.
