NATIONAL GLORY n HIGH MEADOW RANCH WINS OB TEAM TITLE I t may be the Lone Star State, but it took a team effort for Texas' High Meadow Ranch Golf Club to win the 2014 OB Sports National Team Championship Sponsored by the Scottsdale Con- vention & Visitor Bureau in early December. Contested at Longbow Golf Club and Papago Golf Course in Arizona, 24 eight-man teams from OB Sports-managed golf courses across the coun- try participated in the eighth annual event. The High Meadow Ranch team – which shot a cumulative 401 over 36 holes to win in wire-to- wire fashion by four shots over first-time partici- pant Papago – consisted of Casey Wade, Matt Cook, Carl Tolbert, Rob Whitaker, Mark Wyatt, Knight Doggett, Doug Ramsdell and Rick Cook. TETHEROW TEAM IS TOPS F or the third time in five years, Ore- gon's Tetherow Golf Club came out victo- rious in the OB Sports Invitational Cup Matches. The annual invita- tion-only event, held in November at Talk- ing Rock golf club in Prescott, Ariz., pits members of pri- vate facilities against one another in a match-play format. Tetherow and Longbow Golf Club of Arizona won their flights to advance to the final shootout.
