n SEDONA OPENS ITS FAIRWAYS TO BIKERS
S
edona is a Mecca for mountain biking and the
Sedona Golf Resort is combining the sport
and its golf course in the inaugural Sedona
Bike & Brew Festival set for late August.
The event begins Friday, August 22
at 5 p.m. with a leisurely 6-mile ride
that takes participants across all 18
holes of the 80-acre course, followed by
dinner in the Juniper Bar & Grille
with music and eight to 10 craft beers
from Tempe's Four Peaks Brewery.
Timed trials begin Saturday, August 23
at 7 a.m. with six classes for men, women
and juniors. The registration fee is $75,
which also includes an awards ceremony,
and there is no charge for spectators.
