Ranger Rick Syn-
drome: Taking les-
sons and striping
countless range
balls, only to dis-
cover we can't al-
ways translate our
success on the range
onto the golf course.
Turns out, it's a
mental thing. And
there's a fix.
"Most golfers are
reluctant to admit it,
but their mental
game is something
that is often over-
looked," said Tim
Suzor, a PGA profes-
sional and founder of
THINQ Golf. "What
we offer is a unique
training program
meant to improve
performance on the
golf course."
With its interactive
online portal, THINQ
Golf offers a suite of
video games, educa-
tional webinars, and
mental tools such as a
"vision board," along
with many other use-
ful features geared to-
ward providing
members with an all-
encompassing ap-
proach to improving
their mental game.
THINQ Golf was
developed in part
with Dr. Debbie
Crews, a noted au-
thor and LPGA Mas-
ter Professional.
Her book, "Golf:
Energy in Motion,"
explores the specific
mental skills that
have been extensively
researched over the
years which are re-
quired for optimal
golf performance.
"If you were to ask
a professional
golfer what per-
centage of the
game is mental,
you would hear
upwards of 90
percent," Suzor
says. "Why is it
then that most ama-
teur golfers pay such
little attention to
training this side of
their game?"
