New programs in full swing for golfers young and old
T
here's a lot going on at American Golf properties this
summer. And there's never been a better time to get in-
volved at the courses where you like to play.
Here's an inside look at some of the things we have planned
for you in the coming months:
Golfers who like to compete – but who don't like
to take competition too seriously – can participate
in our recently launched Scramble Series. These
events take place in a scramble format and are
geared toward enjoying the day and building
camaraderie – with a little something on the line
to make things interesting. Tournaments are already
taking place at our Long Beach courses, and we're plan-
ning more at courses throughout Southern California.
Of course, summer is a great time of year for junior golfers to
get out and play, and our Nike Summer Camps are set to begin
in June. They're a great way for kids to get involved – and stay
involved – in a game that can be enjoyed for a lifetime.
And speaking of playing for a lifetime, our all-new Par 55
program encourages those over the age of 55 to tee it up with
additional savings and incentives that we hope will bring
more senior golfers out to the course.
