n ajGa event honors former lpGa star
T
he Winn Grips Heather Farr Classic hosted
by Longbow Golf Club in Mesa, Arizona, has
produced some great moments in American Jun-
ior Golf Association history – along with
an impressive list of past champions
that includes Hunter Mahan ('99),
Paula Creamer ('03-'04), and Inbee
Park ('05). Now in its 16th year, the
April 17-20 tournament will be held for
the 11th time at OB Sports-managed Longbow.
The prestigious event honors Arizona
native Heather Farr, one of the AJGA's
most-decorated players, who qualified for
the LPGA Tour in 1985 at age 20. She was
diagnosed with breast cancer in 1989, and
passed away on November 20, 1993.

game to youngsters
in a fun and easy
way using modified
equipment designed
to simplify the learn-
ing process. Best of
all, many OB Sports-
managed facilities
offer the program
