The unique thing about the Scholar-
ship Foundation of the Pacific event is
that it is set in the desert but began as
a way to raise money for scholarships to
undergraduate students studying marine
science. The foundation's scope has ex-
panded to now offer scholarships to
an array of undergraduate degrees at its
three partner universities. Entry into the
event is $350 and includes golf, cocktails
and appetizers, dinner and an auction.
