OB SPORTS GOLF & LEISURE
x
SPRING 2018
What makes the Pacific Northwest such an out-
standing region for golf? While the climate can at
times impede a round of golf, the game can be enjoyed
year round. The Northwest offers such a diverse port-
folio of courses, including the six that we manage.
There's everything from coastal dune properties like
Florence Golf Links to timber-lined traditional courses
like that of Mill Creek Country Club in Western Wash-
ington. Just hours away in the eastern part of the state,
Gamble Sands offers an experience supremely unique
to the area – a links option void of any
trees, where wind and terrain can equal
the challenge of a tree-lined course. You
see similar transitions in style in Oregon
as the high desert of Bend, which is
home to Tetherow, provides a com-
pletely different experience than that of
Langdon Farms and Charbonneau golf
clubs. In short, options from the coast to the
mountains to the desert are all within three
hours of one another.

How do the courses that OB Sports man-
ages in the region differ from one another?
We work with private, resort and public facili-
ties in the Northwest. Langdon Farms, one of
Portland's most established and popular re-
sort-style properties, offers a terrific John
"Options from the coast to
the mountains to the desert
are all within three hours."
