hen OB Sports announced the
opening of its Pacific Northwest
office in the greater-Seattle area
earlier this year, it was a homecoming of sorts
for the management company that was based
in the region for many years before relocating
to Scottsdale at the turn of the century.
And when it came time to find someone to
oversee the operation, it was Ryan Whitney
who emerged as the obvious choice to serve
as Senior Vice President of Operations and
Business Development.
With deep roots in the area, Whitney, who
works closely with multiple OB Sports prop-
erties to ensure each is appropriately sup-
ported in their operational needs, is as
knowledgeable as it gets when it comes to
golf in that part of the country. We recently
caught up with him to learn more about what
the Pacific Northwest has to offer.
