NEW GEAR COBRA ........... ABOUT FACES TECHNOLOGY IN F8 DRIVERS DELIVERS BIG BENEFITS C obra has dubbed the new CNC milled face in its King F8 drivers "the face of the fu- ture" – and it would be hard to dispute that. CNC precision milling ensures that every driver face is machined to precise specifications to achieve optimal performance. And there's plenty of advanced technology featured in the company's newly launched fair- ways, hybrids and irons, too. "The one that stands out the most is the F8 drivers with the milled face," said Jose Miraflor, the Vice President of Marketing for Cobra Puma Golf. "This is the first time ever that any manufacturer has CNC milled a titanium face. We took two-and-a-half years to perfect this technique, and we figured out how to deliver a face that's consistent, thin, fast and has perfect curvature so the golfer really benefits." The F8 fairway woods feature redesigned rails for better turf interaction, and the hybrids have a lower center of gravity thanks to a face insert and a lower hosel height. Perhaps the biggest innovation is that all the new clubs will come with Cobra Connect technology that will help golfers track distances and other statistical measures through an Arccos app. Both the F8 and F8+ feature moveable weights, but the F8 has back and heel weighting to produce high shots and plenty of forgiveness. The F8+ comes with a front weight option, reducing launch angle and spin while creating more ball speed to cater to the lower handicap player. > SHOP HERE ver.indd 1 12/1/1 ver.indd 1 12/1/1 ver.indd 1 12/1/1 ver.indd 1 12/1/1 > READ MORE ABOUT THE COBRA KING F8 CLUBS AT THE LEADING EDGE BLOG.
