T
echnological improve-
ments abound throughout
the new clubs on the mar-
ket from Ping. Case in
point: the G400 Max
driver features added forgiveness
compared to the previous G400 model,
thanks to a larger profile and extreme
tungsten backweighting.
"In the G400 Max, we're excited
about the added forgiveness it offers
golfers to help them keep their
drives in the fairway and
have shorter shots into the
green," said Barry Brew-
ster, a sales representa-
tive for Ping.
In the G700 irons, a thin-
ner face and the head's
unique structure creates metalwood-
like flexing that leads to added ball
speed and higher launch.
"We love the distance and higher
ball flight of the G700 irons because it
allows golfers to hit less club into the
greens with stopping power to keep
their shots close to the hole."
Ping's Glide 2.0 stealth wedges have
an improved feel and an attractive
black finish, and the higher-lofted
clubs now have an added half-groove
that increases spin and helps improve
accuracy around the greens.
The Vault 2.0 putters are differenti-
ated by sole weights offered in three
materials – steel, tungsten and alu-
minum – to match a golfer's feel and
balance preferences.
"The Glide 2.0 is a beautifully
crafted club that offers performance
gains through precision milled grooves
and the added feel of the 8620 carbon
steel," Brewster said. "The Vault 2.0
putters are precision milled works of
art that are engineered to perform.
"At Ping, our focus is on helping
golfers of all skill levels play better
through advancements in technology
that lead to lower scores and more en-
joyment on the course," Brewster said.
The G400 Max, Glide 2.0 Stealth and
Vault 2.0 putters are on sale now. The
G700 irons will be available March 29.
