T here is no shortage of golf courses in the greater Las Vegas area, from expensive resort tracks to more moderately priced munis. But it's a safe bet that there isn't a more complete golf facility than Angel Park. Located about 13 miles west of the heart of the fabled Las Vegas Strip, Angel Park includes two championship-length 18-hole layouts, a 12-hole par-3 track, and a 9-hole put- ting course. "Angel Park is the most versatile golf experience in Las Vegas, if not on the entire West Coast," says Director of Sales & Marketing Jed Francese. "There is an option for any level of player at any time of day. We are not your stan- dard 18-hole golf course facility. There truly is something for everyone. It's a place you can bring the entire family." Regardless of its golfing options, Angel Park prides itself on its consis- tently player-friendly conditions, and each of the four golf choices offer views of both the Las Vegas Strip and the surrounding mountain ranges. The two 18-hole options include the Mountain Course and the Palm Course, both designed by Arnold Palmer. The par-71 Mountain is the longer of the two and features scenic views of the Red Rock Mountains and some challenging forced-carry options.
