O
B Sports has unveiled two
new ways for golfers to get
the most out of their golfing
experience at courses the company
manages across the country.
Direct Advantage not only makes
it easy for players to book tee times
through the golf courses' new and im-
proved online booking engines and
mobile apps, but also provides
incentives for golfers to
book directly rather than
through third-party sites.
Golfers will find that
booking directly through
each course's website is fast
and easy, and they'll get the best possi-
ble rates with no booking fees. Even
better, the mobile apps – available for
iPhone and Android devices – allow
you to book directly from your phone
with just three taps. There's also a Golf
Cash feature that lets golfers add
money to their account that can then
be debited for tee times, beverage cart
purchases and more.
"We're trying to make it as easy as
possible for our golfers," said David
Bataller, the Director of Communica-
tions and Public Relations for OB
Sports. "We've had great feedback on
the Direct Advantage program so far."
Meanwhile, the Players First survey
program is a new way for OB Sports
courses to solicit feedback from golfers,
to understand what they're doing well
and where they can improve.
Golfers will receive an emailed sur-
vey after each round asking them to
rate everything from course conditions
to the practice facility, restaurant and
the price they paid for golf relative to
the experience. In exchange, you'll be
entered into monthly prize drawings.
"It's a tool for each facility to be
able to keep their fingers on the pulse
of their course," Bataller said. "It al-
lows each property to give you the
best experience on and off the course
in real time."
