SeaCliff Country Club makes its mark with
golf in surf town of Huntington Beach

City, USA, Huntington Beach is most
commonly associated with boards and
bikinis. But that doesn't mean it doesn't offer other
charms, such as one of the finest private coastal
golf courses in the region: SeaCliff Country Club.
Designed by J. Press Maxwell, who worked
diligently to craft a 6,935-yard, par-72
course that retained its natural terrain,
the club is located about a mile from
the ocean atop gentle bluffs. Mature
oaks and lanky palm trees frame the
course, which includes well-defined
rough, cavernous bunkers and a myriad of
water features, creating a strategic test as well as a
stunning visual backdrop.
The layout is the centerpiece of a facility that
