LOOKING AHEAD
n new year brings new opportunities
T
he beginning of a new year is a great time to
start thinking about the future and setting new
goals. Because even as we take a moment to re-
flect on all we've accomplished over the past 12
months, we're golfers at heart and are al-
ways striving to improve our games.
With that in mind, we reached out to
some friends in the golf community
and asked them to share their ambi-
tions and aspirations for the coming
year. We heard from golf course design-
ers, PGA professionals, and golfers in the
national spotlight, who all offered their
thoughts on what they hope to accomplish in 2016.
Finally, if playing more, practicing more, or better
understanding your swing are among your resolu-
tions, I'd like to leave you with a few of my favorite
quotes from some of the history's greatest players:
"The best exercise for golfers is golfing." – Bobby
Jones. "It's a funny thing, the more I practice the
luckier I get." – Arnold Palmer. "Don't be too proud
to take a lesson. I'm not." – Jack Nicklaus.
