n members of the golf community
share their resolutions for 2016
T
he beginning of the new year is a chance
for celebration and reflection. And as pre-
dictable as it sounds, it's also an ideal
time to set goals and make plans for the future.
With that, we reached out to some prominent
members of the golf community and asked them
to share their New Year's golf resolutions. From
getting out on the course more to just having
more fun, here's what they had to share…
Joe Passov, National Golf Writer
Ah, the dawning of a new year, with so many
hopes and aspirations waiting to be postponed
and ultimately squashed. There are many golf
resolutions I should keep, but only one I really
want to – and that's to play more golf with my dad. My father isn't getting any
younger, and neither am I. When I saw the TV previews for the PNC Father/Son
Challenge in mid-December, it reminded me, with greater urgency than ever,
that I need to tee it up with my pop much more in 2016 than we have the past
two years. It's not just the father-son bonding that appeals so much. It's the fact
that I simply treasure his company on the golf course.
