Chardonnay Men's Club offers
plenty of golf and camaraderie
T
here are many reasons to join the
Chardonnay men's club. There's the
great golf experience, of course, but
there's also the friendships, camaraderie,
and fun that go along with it.
"We make it about relationships,"
says Head Golf Professional Bob
Becker. "We travel together, play at
other clubs, and make it so every-
body feels part of a group."
And, if you like to play in golf tour-
naments, there are plenty of opportunities
to get your competitive juices flowing.
A variety of monthly events are open to
men's club members during the year, in-
cluding individual, two-man and four-man
competitions that feature an array of
different formats.
Two of the biggest events on the
2014 calendar are the annual club
championship, which is scheduled for Sept.
20 and Sept. 27, and the Two-Man Invita-
tional and Club Party on Nov. 15, a popular
member-guest fete.
Men's club members also have the op-
portunity to play in skins games, which are
held every Tuesday, Thursday and Satur-
day, with a $10 buy in.
"The men's club is all about promoting
friendship and fun on the golf course,"
Becker said. "It's a great opportunity to
meet new guys with a wide range of skill
and who don't take the game too seriously."
Enrollment in the men's club is $80 per
year and $55 for renewals.
