Palmer Private Course earns renewed recognition as one of the best in the state

he PGA WEST Palmer Private Course
has reemerged in the spotlight after
being recognized by Golf Digest as one
of California's best courses for the first
time since 2016.
"The PGA WEST team was very excited and proud
of the recognition," said Eric Temena, Director of
Golf for The Club at PGA WEST. "I think the Palmer
course layout and location contributed to the high
ranking. Certainly, the recent enhancements helped."
Spanning along the scenic Santa Rosa Mountains,
the Palmer Private Course presents a stimulating
challenge, particularly on holes such as the 14th
through the 17th, a distinctive stretch on the back
nine that evokes a sense of beauty and adventure.
"They are fun and challenging holes right along the
rugged Santa Rosa Mountains," Temena said.
The course also enjoys legendary status in the desert
not only for its scenic location, but for its longtime
