Looking ahead
News you can use as the course undergoes aerification
I
hope this column finds you well as we navigate through the
summer months. I wanted to take this opportunity to provide
you with an update on the happenings at Classic Club and
share some highlights from our latest issue of the Insider.
Firstly, I must inform you that our golf course is tem-
porarily closed for aerification and other essential
maintenance. This necessary work ensures that
when we reopen on September 1, Classic Club will
showcase its typical stellar conditions that you have
come to expect.
While the fairways are taking a well-deserved break,
I invite you to explore the latest issue of the Insider, which
celebrates the natural splendor that surrounds our course. Our Di-
rector of Agronomy, Tony Spannaus, shares insights into the diverse
flora that adorns our grounds, from olive and pepper trees to vibrant
annual flower beds. You'll also learn more about the bird and but-
terfly garden we have on property.
In addition to the stunning landscape, we take pride in offering
exceptional private event spaces at Classic Club and Bellatrix Res-
taurant, and in this edition, you can find out more about the
course's beautiful venues and settings. We also provide you with in-
valuable tips on how to organize a golf event that will leave your par-
ticipants impressed, and you can meet our PGA Head Golf
Professional Derek Mazzoni, who shares his passion for the game.
As always, thank you for your continued support at Classic Club.
We look forward to welcoming you back to our spectacular course
on September 1.
– GREG RUBINO, General Manager
