s we enjoy the rest of our beautiful spring weather, I am
delighted to share highlights of the latest news and events
happening at Classic Club.
Firstly, we want to inform you that our golf course will
be temporarily closed for summer aerification from July
10 through August 31. This essential maintenance, led
by Director of Agronomy Tony Spannaus, will ensure
the long-term health and playability of our course. We
understand that this may be an inconvenience, but rest
assured knowing that this process will allow us to main-
tain the top-notch course conditions you've come to expect.
Before summer hits, though, you can join us at Bellatrix Restaurant
for an exquisite afternoon of wine tasting at the Far Niente Family of
Wines Pop-up Tasting event on June 7. For $15 per person, guests can
indulge in a diverse selection of fine wines and light appetizers, mak-
ing it the perfect way to spend a relaxing afternoon at Classic Club.
Also, don't miss the opportunity to celebrate National Bourbon Day
at Bellatrix Restaurant on June 14. You can savor an impressive selec-
tion of bourbons and signature cocktails, including popular and rare
options that we have on hand.
In this issue, we also feature an interview with PGA Teaching Pro-
fessional David Curtis, who shares his passion for golf, memorable
moments at Classic Club, and valuable advice for golfers. Addition-
ally, David provides expert tips on mastering fairway bunker shots.
