"Guests are able to step out their door and minutes later be teeing off," Perkins said. "Then, when the round is over and they've been enjoying a steak and a beer at Danny Boy Bar & Grill, our golf cart shuttle is a phone call away, allowing them to meet friends for glow golf on the putting course with luminescent golf balls that are for sale at The Inn to cap off the night." In July 2022, Gamble Sands broke the news of a new David McLay Kidd golf course and enhanced lodging with 36 rooms on the horizon. The new rooms will overlook the new championship golf course, a short drive north of the main complex. "Our new rooms will be just as comfortable and inviting as our origi- nal space, with a few tweaks to make them even more versatile for a broad range of groups," says Perkins. "Each of our new rooms will include two king beds, making it easier to maxi- mize how many guests can enjoy them together." The impetus behind the new rooms is straightforward, as the property provides a pure, remote golf experience that is best felt when golfers are able to stay on the property. "The addition of rooms will mean we are able to provide the full Gamble Sands experience to more golfers," Perkins said. "Being able to have more golfers experience the magic here means a lot to us, and adding more accommodations means we're able to share this beautiful place with even more kindred spirits."
