THE GOLF COURSES
next several years were a struggle for my
survival. Thankfully, I received a life-saving
organ transplant and made a full recovery.
After surgery, I couldn't wait to return to
the golf course, and I found myself playing
multiple times per week. It was around this
time that I started my YouTube channel.
What made you decide to start posting
videos about your golf adventures?
I'm an avid follower of many YouTube
golfers myself. With that said, most
"YouTube golf" falls into one of two
categories: professional instruction and
content created by top-tier amateurs
chasing a professional dream. It struck me
that there weren't too many "weekend
warriors" creating relatable content. I
started my channel because I wanted to
showcase the methods I employed to work
my way down to a single-digit handicap
despite a pedestrian swing. I also wanted
to encourage golfers of every skill level to
travel to great golf destinations and enjoy
the game while "swinging their swing."
What courses did you play at PGA
WEST last winter? I played the Pete Dye
Mountain Course, the Pete Dye Dunes
Course, the Nicklaus Tournament Course,
the Nicklaus Private Course, and the Greg
Norman Course.
What were your impressions? There
are several things that make PGA WEST
unique among golf destinations I've visited.
