The 5th Annual RIMS AVID Scholarship Golf
Tournament will take place on Saturday, March 19.
The event raises money for the organization, which
serves AVID schools in Riverside, Inyo, Mono, and
San Bernardino counties.

STEWS SHOOTOUT RAISES
FUNDS FOR MENINGITIS GROUP
The National Meningitis Association will hold its 14th
annual Stews Shootout on Saturday, March 26. The
event benefits an amazing cause and there are three
ways to participate – by playing in the tournament,
sponsoring a hole, or making a donation to be entered
into a helicopter ball drop. Entry is $135 per player
($155 after March 21) and includes 18 holes of golf,
range balls, cart, lunch and swag bag.

FAMILIES BENEFIT FROM GOLF GET-TOGETHER
The first-ever Community Investment Golf
Championship will tee it up on Friday, April 1 in an
effort to raise funds to help low-income families make
critical infrastructure improvements to their mobile
home parks as well as other family services. Entry is
$200 for individuals and $800 for a foursome and
includes golf, breakfast, beverages, lunch, raffle
and awards ceremony.

U.S. OPEN QUALIFIER COMES TO CLASSIC CLUB
The road to the 122nd United States Open at The
Country Club in Brookline, Mass., June 16-19, could
begin at Classic Club. The course will play host to a U.S.
Open qualifier on Monday, May 9, where participants
will attempt to reach the final qualifying stage.

VENTURES TO PALM DESERT
The Griffith Park Golf Club, established in 1915, is a
group of golfers dedicated to providing members with
exceptional tournaments where they can meet other
golfers, enjoy friendly competition, and build new
relationships. The group is slated to compete at Classic
Club on Saturday, May 14.
