years, and if you ask him why people
should move to the city set amid the Santa
Rosa Mountains, he has a simple answer.
"La Quinta really is the Gem of the
Desert," he said. "I've lived in numerous
places and traveled all over, and La Quinta
is by far the best place to live – year round
if you choose to."
One of the biggest benefits, Gard says, is
that whatever a homebuyer's budget, they
can find something affordable that works
for their wants and needs.
"PGA WEST has properties from
$200,000 up to $7 million," he said.
"For many coastal clients of mine in Los
Angeles, Seattle, San Diego, and Portland,
they have found that in our market they
can find 2-to-3 times the property for half
the cost of where they came from."
Another big draw to the area is golf,
especially at PGA WEST, Gard said. With
five resort courses and four private courses,
PGA WEST is ideal for those who love the
game, and those who enjoy other activities
such as tennis, hiking, and great dining.
The only problem, though, is the scarcity
of available listings in La Quinta.
"Remember back in April and May of
2020, when no one could find toilet
paper?" he said. "The real estate market
now is just like that for finding houses."
