T
he Constellation Room is ready to play
a new starring role at Classic Club.
After going through extensive up-
grades since last August, the event space re-
opened in March sporting a significant
expansion and an impressive new interior.
Now featuring a full ballroom able to seat
up to 250 guests, the Constellation Room has
been updated with rich wooden accents and a
new modern lighting and color scheme. There's
also a new walk-up bar that is accessible from
the indoor ballroom and the outdoor patio.
In addition, the outdoor patio is now fully
enclosed with a private entry and exit, out-
door lighting, permanent shade structures,
and misters. The patio wraps around the ball-
room and leads to an event lawn with views
of the San Jacinto Mountains.
The upgrades were made to due to the de-
mand for an in-and-outdoor event venue to
host parties larger than 180, said Assistant
General Manager Ruan Krugel. With the ex-
pansion, the Constellation Room is ideal for
groups ranging from 100-220 (with a maxi-
mum of 250) for seated dining events, and up
to 500 for receptions or theater-style seating.
"The room is incredibly versatile and
would serve perfectly for a wedding recep-
tion, quinceanera, corporate function or larger
gathering of any kind," Krugel said.
As a final touch, the event lawn is in the
process of being enclosed with a mature Ficus
hedge that has already grown to more than 6
feet. The hedge wraps around from the patio
to the front drive in order to maintain privacy.
"It creates a quiet and intimate event
space," Krugel said.
