he 2021 wyoming desert
intercollegiate golf tour-
nament returns to Classic
Club February 19-21.
A tournament field of approxi-
mately 20 teams will compete in
the 13th annual event, including
UCLA, Stanford, the Uni-
versity of Oregon, Col-
orado State, Georgia
Tech and Golfstat's
13th-ranked team in
the country, the Uni-
versity of San Diego.
Hosted by the
Wyoming Cowboys, the 2020
event was won by the Auburn
Tigers, who shot 22-under par
(842) for the three-day tourna-
ment, 18 shots ahead of second
place Charlotte, which will return
in 2021 for another shot at the title.
Wyoming's best team finish
came in 2009 when it tied for third
place with Nebraska with a three-
day total of 877.

he Warburton will celebrate its
11th year when the celebrity
golf tournament and music ex-
travaganza returns April 8-11.
Hosted by actor Patrick Warburton –
best known for his role as Puddy in Se-
infeld – the event features a four-day
celebration of golf and entertainment
with all the proceeds benefiting the St.
Jude Children's Hospital.
Since its inception in 2011, The War-
burton has raised more than $15 million
for the hospital, including a record-
breaking $3.6 million in 2020.
To provide for the health and
safety of participants in 2021, all
of the events will be held out-
doors, and modifications at the
time of the event will be made
based on CDC, county and state
guidelines.
The Warburton festivities in-
clude a Songwriters Night on
April 8, where artists perform and
tell the stories behind their
biggest hits; a Pairings Party and
The Jam on April 9, where golf
teams are matched up and rock
'n' roll icons and surprise guests pro-
vide a night of great music; and the
celebrity golf tournament at Classic
Club on Saturday and Sunday, April 10-
11, which includes The Soiree – dinner,
silent and live auctions, and entertain-
ment – on Saturday night.
