"Classic Club and the Berger Founda-
tion are honored to play a role in sup-
porting a fantastic charity such as St.
Jude's," said Classic Club PGA Tourna-
ment Coordinator Joe Fritz. "We're
thrilled to be able to offer our golf course
and services to help raise money for an
amazing organization."
The Warburton begins with a special
Songwriter's Night on Thursday, March
5, followed by a Friday golf pairings
party and jam session. The golf tourna-
ment is played on both weekend days,
with The Soiree held Saturday night after
play. While the entertainment has yet to
be announced, the lineup always features
spectacular musicians. Last year's Song-
writer's Night included Tim Nichols,
Kelly Lovelace, Jamie O'Neal and Billy
Dean, while the Friday Jam Session
brought to the stage Toby Keith, Michael
McDonald and members of Journey, the
Doobie Brothers, Chicago, The Roman-
tics, REM and more.
With the 2020 Warburton marking the
10th anniversary of the event, Fritz said
there are some surprises planned to com-
memorate the event's decade of success.
"It's certainly our biggest happening
of the year, from the guests playing in the
tournament to the social events like
music after golf, all while benefiting a
wonderful charity in St. Jude's," Fritz
said. "It's been a blessing to host an event
as special as this one for the last decade."
Classic Club will once again host
the golf portion of the event.
