events that will be happening at
Classic Club. Here's a look:
MAY 9
COYOTE CLASSIC
The gridiron will meet the golf course
when the Coyote Classic Golf Tourna-
ment tees of for the first time at Classic
Club. Event proceeds will benefit the
youth outreach programs of the SoCal
Coyotes, one of America's most lauded
developmental football programs. The
entry fee is $200 per player, which in-

MAY 13
U.S. OPEN QUALIFIER
For the fifth straight year, the course
will host a U.S. Open qualifier, the first
step in the dream of the thousands of
players competing in more than 100
qualifiers in April and May trying to
make the field of the 119th U.S. Open in
June at Pebble Beach Golf Links. "Typi-
cally, even par or 1-under gets through
to the next stage, so players have to be
patient and smart as one mistake can
cost you two shots," said Classic Club

MAY 17
IVCL GOLF TOURNAMENT
Benefitting the Imperial Valley Coali-
tion for Compassion is the focus of this
faith-based organization's event. The
four-man shamble begins at 8 a.m. and
will feature special events and contests
that may include a $1 million shot and
longest drive contest, to a $100,000 four-
player shootout and closest-to-the pin
contest. Entry fee is $300 and a variety of
