TOUR REPORT
roy needs just the Masters to cap a ca-
reer Grand Slam. Three back of Reed
when the final round started in '18
and paired with him in the last group,
McIlroy sprayed his opening drive
right of right and never recovered.
The Skinny: Still, the most intrigu-
ing Masters storyline is whether Jor-
dan Spieth can return to glory.
Following his amazing final-round
64 in 2018, when he bogeyed the final
hole to finish third, fans saw Spieth
free fall from relevance. He didn't win,
skidded to T123 in Strokes Gained
Putting and missed qualifying for the
season-ending Tour Championship.
Spieth's Masters results are phenome-
nal: a win in 2015, T2 in 2014 and 2016,
a T11 in '17 and third last year. If he's
serious about a return to elite level,
we'll learn a lot about his progress
with his performance at Augusta.

June 13-16; FOX/FS1
If there's any event in 2019 that
could topple the Masters as the most
compelling draw for TV viewers, it's
our national championship at the na-
tion's most memorable public-access
course, Pebble Beach Golf Links. Add
to the mix prime time viewing on the
East Coast and Brooks Koepka hunt-
ing history as he seeks a three-peat
and we're looking at logging a long
Father's Day weekend on the sofa.
The Venue: There are many seaside
courses in golf that set the pulse rac-
The iconic par-3 7th hole at Pebble Beach.
