FALL 2018
GAME CHANGER
n TIGER WOODS BREAKS THROUGH ONCE AGAIN
O
rder was restored to the golf universe in late
September when Tiger Woods stepped back
into the winner's circle after five long years.
With his victory at the season-ending Tour Champi-
onship, the greatest player of his genera-
tion once again showed us that he
doesn't just move the needle like no
one else in the game, he is the needle.
Although it may have been his
80th PGA Tour victory, in some ways
it felt like win No. 1 as the sports icon
gets ready to take on a new generation
of superstars. I, for one, can't wait to see
what the upcoming season brings.
In this issue of OB Sports Golf & Leisure, our na-
tional golf writer Joe Passov takes an in-depth look at
what to watch for in the PGA Tour's wildly scrambled,
newly unveiled 2018-19 schedule that promises to
shake things up all year long, as well as five players
to keep an eye on – including the aforementioned
Tiger Woods, who also happens to be the new betting
favorite when the first major of the year returns to
Augusta National in April.
I know who I'll have my money on, that's for sure.
