New GOLFZING.com makes tee times fast and easy
T
he Players Club members looking to secure the best
available rates on tee times and do it quickly and simply
should check out the newly redesigned GOLFZING.com.
The website has been a go-to for many years for booking tee
times at American Golf-managed courses, but since the
refreshed site was launched in mid-February, it has
become faster, less cluttered and easier to use.
"In a nutshell, we took out all the noise on the site,"
said Linda Crawford, Director of Marketing for
American Golf. "We used to have group bookings, the
social aspect, fantasy golf and more, and The Players Club
members were having a difficult time navigating to what they
really wanted – which was to book tee times."
The Players Club membership, of course, allows golfers
access to lower rates online – in addition to all the other great
benefits, including free range balls, free instruction clinics and
more. On a recent Friday, members could have booked early
morning tee times for $10 at Lomas Santa Fe Executive in San
Diego or played for $22.50 at The Vineyard in Escondido. Vista
Valencia outside Los Angeles was more than half off at $15, and
Casta del Sol in Mission Viejo had an $18 rate.
"We've gone back to our core focus, so it's really a booking
site now, and you can very easily sign up for The Players Club,"
Crawford said. "Our main goal is to allow members to book the
cheapest tee times and to make it as easy as possible."
