If you think that's looking too far ahead, think again – espe- cially when it comes to booking a holiday party at Classic Club. "The rooms are already filling up fast," says Sales and Catering Manager Charlsie Osborne. "About 30 events are already on the books for December." And for good reason. Party guests, hosts and planners have known for years that Classic Club is a festive spot for gatherings. "And we really go all out dur- ing the holidays," Osborne says. "We decorate the entire club- house, the restaurant, the front drive – everywhere." Classic Club can accommodate parties of 20 to 175 guests. Hosts can choose from among four options: the Classic Club Li- brary, which offers a warm fireplace and a sweeping view of the golf course; the Club Board Room, located off the lobby via a grand entrance; a Bob Hope Room, Tuscan accented with a long hallway leading onto a ter- race; or a main dining room at the award-winning Bellatrix Restaurant. The Classic Club Holiday Menu showcases three dining options: the aptly named Dancer, Dasher and Prancer. The Dancer alone offers starters that include curried crookneck squash soup with candied walnuts, cognac cream and chives; or roasted beet salad with heirloom tomatoes, smoked bacon crisps, goat cheese and basil vinaigrette. The main-course options in- clude chicken paillard with macaroni and cheese, haricot verts and basil pan jus; or honey soy– basted salmon with sake-and- shrimp relish, jasmine rice cake and sauvignon blanc sauce. Dessert consists of apple strudel with vanilla ice cream and rasp- berry sauce. Holiday gatherings at Classic Club needn't be conventional. "One time, we hosted a holiday luau party," Osborne says. "It was a big hit." GET ThAT pArTy sTArTEd! Now is the time to start planning for a holiday gathering at Classic Club BOOK A TEE TIME CLICK HERE FOR DETAILS ON EVENTS
