the Long Beach Open, didn't fail to disappoint this year, as
perfect late-July weather and course conditions greeted
Bryan Martin's cool and collected four-round total of 22-under-
par 266. His scores of 65-67-67-67 at Skylinks at Long Beach and
El Dorado Park golf courses paved the way to a five-shot victory
over runner-up Taylor Montgomery of Las Vegas.
Martin, of Thousand Oaks, never shot the lowest round of the
day during the tournament, but played steadily throughout.

four rounds, but he was within two shots of the day's best score
in each round," said Tom Forbes, Executive Director of the Long
Beach Golf Festival and Tournament Director of the Long Beach
Open. "While others took turns running hot and then cooling

which he looked vulnerable."
Martin benefited from plenty of sunshine and two tracks that
rewarded quality shotmaking.
