MAKING TIME FOR MUSIC
AT WENTE VINEYARDS
Music is in the air at Wente Vineyards and one of the
things we're all thrilled about is our Make time For Music move-
ment (@maketimeformusic) led by Fifth Generation Winegrower
and Winemaker Karl Wente.
as Karl recently pointed out, we all lead busy lives and it's im-
portant that we don't lose sight of the things that bring us joy
and the things that truly nourish our souls – in this
case, the sweet sound of music.
"We believe that life is enriched by the arts,
but that a deliberate effort is needed to make
sure that our busy lives do not get in the way of
the art," Karl said. i couldn't agree more.
that's just one of the reasons we're looking
forward to the return of the concerts at Wente
Vineyards this summer. now in its 31st year, the annual
concert series will showcase some of the biggest names in music
beginning July 12 as chris isaak takes the stage to kick off the
season. he'll be followed by alanis Morissette, Kenny rogers,
smokey robinson and many more who will grace the stage
under the stars. But that's only part of it as music will play an im-
portant role in many of the festivities we have planned through-
out the year, including our annual Front Porch Festival.
