how we did it
what ping says: The grooves in the
Glide 2.0 wedges are spaced closer to-
gether for increased friction, while also
allowing for additional grooves. The
higher-lofted wedges are engineered
for finesse shots around the green with
two more grooves than the original
Glide, and the lower-lofted clubs are
built for full shots with one extra groove.
what the testers said: "Well balanced,
easy to hit." – Mike McDonough
"The club felt soft at impact. Good
club!" – Theresa Waller
"Lots of bounce. Would be good from
rough or soft sand." – Kit Chan
"I like the wide sole and balanced feel."
– Bob Paul

milling techniques for precise sole
geometry, leading edges and score
lines resulting in a precisely crafted
grind that leads to optimal turf inter-
action and consistent performance.

and feels nice, too." – Ben Carotta
"Nice distance and weighting and
felt good at impact. Good perform-
ance and results." – Theresa Waller
"Feels good and has a very crisp
feel. No complaints here!" – Kit Chan

what wilson says: The FG Tour fea-
tures a proprietary Tour-Y Groove de-
sign and 11 laser-etched enhancers
between each scoreline to maximize
spin. The traditional sole provides opti-
mal width and camber for players with
medium to steep swings, while the Tour
Grind Sole offers a thinner sole width
for players with a medium to shallow
angle of attack and those who like to
play a variety of shots around the green.
what the testers said: "Very versatile
club. It's a bit upright, but the face was
hot and I really like the grind." – Kit Chan
"Large face and beautiful blue color,
and it had a little heavier feel." – Theresa
Waller
