ping sigma g putters
sweet 16
ways to roll
p
ing's sigma g putter series
offers a whopping 16 differ-
ent versions, so there's bound to
be one that fits your putting
style and can help you maxi-
mize your makes. Eight of those
models are brand new, and all fea-
ture anodized aluminum face inserts
and PING's True Roll grooves for a
slightly louder impact that doesn't
sacrifice feel. Among the most talked
about releases at January's PGA
Merchandise Show, the
Sigma G series should
be a big seller for
PING. "Right now, I'd
say these are among
the best putters
available under the
$200 mark," said Barron
Sankhauser, a club sales-
man at the Roger Dunn Superstore
in Santa Ana, Calif. "A $199 price tag on a
putter that feels as solid as the Sigma G line is un-
heard of. My favorite model is the Tyne – it looks good, feels
good, and the weighting on it is superb."
