W
e just can't seem to shake our Tiger addiction. Oh, we
tried. We tried for all of 2016. We embraced golf's new
Big Three. Jason, Rory and Jordan. They were young,
exciting and successful – just as they were in 2014 and '15. But
they weren't Tiger. We rejoiced at Dustin Johnson finally getting
his major coronation at the U.S. Open, at Henrik Stenson edg-
ing Phil Mickelson in a British Open duel for the ages, at Justin
Rose pipping Stenson for Olympic Gold in Rio. Yet, the
achievements felt a tiny bit hollow, given Tiger's absence.
