alentine's Day is the one day of the year when we're expected to
show some affection toward our sweethearts. But when it comes
to golf, the love of the game is a lifelong love affair. Every sport-
ing enthusiast shares a deep passion for their respective athletic
endeavor, but considering golf is a sport that many begin playing as ado-
lescents and continue enjoying their entire lives, it's hard to think of one
that exerts a more powerful hold.
Whether it's taking a break from the daily grind in the great out-
doors, catching up with old friends or making new ones, or taking that
cover off your favorite driver for the first time in weeks, there are
plenty of reasons why people take to this game and stay with it.
So, what better time than the month of February to take an infor-
mal survey of some of the top minds in the industry, and ask them
just what is it about this confounding and challenging game that
makes them so passionate about it – and keep coming back for more.
