FIT FOR THE TEE
n TAKING A STANCE TO SUPPORT MEN'S HEALTH
W
hen it comes to giving back, there was per-
haps no greater ambassador for the game
of golf than Arnold Palmer, who passed
away in late September at the age of 87.
The King was
the gold standard when it came to charitable efforts
and established an example for all to follow.
That's one of the reasons we're proud and
excited to be working with the Movember
Foundation this November, in an effort
to raise funds and draw attention to
vital men's health issues. It's a worthy
cause – one that impacts millions of
people every year.
There are three additional reasons we
wanted to be involved in this effort: to encour-
age the golfing public to get healthy; to grow the game
of golf by promoting its mental and physical benefits;
and to raise funds on behalf of the Movember Founda-
tion through promotions, events and initiatives.
Several of the courses we manage will be participat-
ing in the festivities by hosting outings designed to en-
courage golfers of all abilities to take part. You can
read more about our partnership with the Movember
Foundation in this issue – and we hope to see you out
on the course this November.
