HIGH HOPES
n OB SPORTS AIMS TO ENHANCE MT. GRAHAM
O
ne of the newest facilities under the
OB Sports management umbrella,
Mt. Graham Golf Club in Thatcher, Ariz.,
brings the company's COO back to his roots.
"I was born and raised in (nearby) Safford and
this golf course introduced me to the great game of
golf, which has led to an exciting career in the in-
dustry," said OB Sports' Phil Green.
Opened in 1956, Mt. Graham features a 6,354-
yard, par-72 course; a natural-grass practice
range, golf shop and restaurant.
"OB Sports is a very established and expe-
rienced company," said City of Safford Plan-
ning and Community Development Director
Dustin Welker. "We're confident they will
help us raise the quality of play and overall
experience at the golf course."
