F
ollowing the success of the in-
augural Oro Valley Music Festi-
val at The Golf Club at Vistoso,
the club is doubling down this year
and expanding to a two-day event,
taking place October 1st and 2nd.
The event, which brought in 5,500
visitors for its single-day festival last
year, will feature a country themed
lineup on Saturday that includes Billy
Currington, David Nail, Chris Janson,
Dan + Shay, Cassadee Pope, and Brett
Young. Sunday's lineup will be an-
nounced in early July, and will have
an adult contemporary pop theme
similar to last years, which featured
Plain White Ts, NEEDTOBREATHE,
and Rachel Platten. Local rising star
Kaylor Cox will be opening both
nights of the festival.
The Golf Club at Vistoso General
Manager Rich Elias is proud of how
the event has grown.
"We wanted to do something good
for the community, to bring Oro Val-
ley together at an event where you
can sit outside, look at the mountains,
and enjoy the weather, all while lis-
tening to some of the biggest names in
today's music." Elias said. "It's a great
opportunity for our neighbors in
Southern Arizona to enjoy this won-
derful facility outside of our everyday
golf environment."
Tickets are currently on sale at
OroValleyMusicFestival.com and
start at $45 for a single day ticket, and
$85 for a two-day pass. Two levels of
VIP experiences are also available.
