WE VISITED ST. GEoRGE, UTAH.
HERE'S WHY YoU SHoULD, Too

I
f you've never been to St. George, Utah, for a round of
golf, you're missing out. The destination in the south-
ern part of the state has become one of the most popu-
lar in the country, known for its breathtaking views of
red-rock cliffs, coral-pink colored sand dunes, rugged
black lava rock and emerald fairways.
Less than a two-hour drive from Las Vegas off Interstate
15, St. George is the kind of gem that's hidden in plain
sight. The area is the gateway to Zion National Park, one
of the largest tourist destinations in the West. But the sec-
ond largest attraction are the golf courses that span Wash-
ington County. Several sit deep in the desert – closer to
state parks than grocery stores – while some top-notch
municipal courses wind through neighborhoods.
Million-year-old rock formations and the backdrop of
Zion provide golfers with incomparable views of natural
beauty during rounds that will challenge and delight
players of all skill levels. SoCal Golf Insider recently
toured St. George's golf and entertainment venues. Here
are some reasons why you should, too.
