l WELCOME NOTE THE CONCERTS AT WENTE VINEYARDS 2016 T he year 1986 was a seminal time in the music world. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame held its first induction ceremony. Madonna reached superstar status as her True Blue album soared to No. 1. Huey Lewis and the News scored five Top 5 hits with the re- lease of their album Fore! It was also the inaugural year of The Concerts at Wente Vineyards. Featuring spectacular evenings of fine wine and food complemented by gracious, personal service, The Concerts at Wente Vineyards is cele- brating its 30th year of world-class entertainment this season. Surrounded by gardens, hillsides and tile-roofed winery dwellings recreated in the style of old Califor- nia, the property's cozy, outdoor ter- raced amphitheater has hosted some of the biggest names ever to appear on stage, including renowned artists such as James Taylor, Elvis Costello, Sheryl Crow, Tony Bennet, B.B. King, Ringo Starr, Willie Nelson, and many, many more. And this year is no different, with a lineup that includes superstars such as Diana Ross, Boz Scaggs, and Jackson Browne, among others. But music isn't the only item on the bill of fare for your evening out. Guests can choose either a gour- met four-course meal in the award- winning The Restaurant at Wente Vineyards, followed by reserved stage-front seating, or a lavish buffet- style dinner at tables on the lawn overlooking the stage. The intimate nature of the venue ensures that every seat provides an exceptional concert experience.
