Its 260-acre layout is on the western slopes of the Santa Cruz Mountains and the long history of the property, which has been used as everything from livestock grazing to vineyards, is retained in Jones' natural, intimate design. The course opened in 1999, and it's championship caliber on every level, from its 7,360-yard length from the tips to the kind of tournaments it has hosted, including the PGA Tour's Frys.Com Open from 2010 to 2013 and the USGA Senior Women's Championship in 2013. It's also a full-fledged resort, complete with 45 bungalows, fairway homes and villa suites, a Tuscan-style winery and vineyard, a tennis center, spa, and three onsite dining venues. 4 COURSES WORTH A LOOK…
