ain can be a golfer's worst enemy, especially when it occurs in the
hip, back or legs.
One exercise golfers can use to combat that discomfort is the Stand-
ing Hip Stretch, according to Jeremy Klinkhamer, physical therapist and
owner of FitGolf Performance Centers in San Diego.
Using a golf club or wall to maintain your balance, put one foot on
your knee in a figure 4 position and squat down while keeping your
foot on the ground. You should feel a good stretch in your glutes. Alter-
nate sides after each stretch and, if used during the beginning of your
workout, perform the stretch more quickly. If it's at the end of your
workout, then hold the stretch longer. See the video for more!
