ThE lAsT pAgE BOOK A TEE TIME TROON CHALLENGE TO HOLD REGIONAL QUALIFIER AT CLASSIC CLUB Y our road to the 2016 Troon Challenge final can begin at Classic Club, where a regional qualifier will be held on Sunday, May 22. On that day, two teams will qualify to participate in the final, which will be held in Scottsdale, Arizona, at the end of the summer. More than 35 Troon Golf-managed golf courses will hold qualifying events across the country April through August. Participants will com- pete in a modified best-ball shamble, where each player hits a tee shot and plays their own ball after selecting the best shot off the tee. The lower of the two scores is the team score for the hole. A minimum of one gross team and one net team will advance to the final. The cost to enter the qualifier at Classic Club is $170 per two-player team, and includes green fee, cart, practice balls prior to play, on-course contests, and prizes. clIcK hErE to learn more or to register online. Only a few spots remain for this classic matchup in the desert, where two-player teams face off in different formats at three Troon Golf-man- aged facilities – the Pete Dye Course at Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort and Spa in Rancho Mirage, Classic Club in Palm Desert, and The Players Course at Indian Wells Golf Resort. MARK YOUR CALENDAR MOTHER'S DAY BRUNCH A SPECIAL DAY AT CLASSIC CLUB M ay 8 is the day to celebrate the special women in our lives, and Classic Club is hosting its annual Mother's Day Brunch to help sons and daughters do just that. "Mother's Day is a bit of a tradition here at the club, and an event we look forward to every year," said Ruan Krugel, Food and Beverage Director at Classic Club. "Like everything, we do it right." The Brunch menu will include assorted breakfast fare, eggs, and bacon and sausage, as well as a stations for omelettes, fresh salads, meat carving, seared salmon, grilled chicken, seafood, desserts, and a special station just for kids.
