Wine Sommelier, Greg An-
derson has found an innovative way
to combine two of his passions, and
two industries that have more in
common than one might think: golf
and wine.
Anderson owns and manages
GolfVino, a private tour company
that offers golf and wine journeys via
pre-arranged group tours or cus-
tomized tours, which can be person-
alized down to the last detail depend-
ing on the client's budget and
preferences.
Anderson has recently partnered
with Chardonnay Golf Club, and is
currently offering both customized
and pre-set tours to the property.
In addition to golf instruction at
the Kris Moe Golf School and playing
golf at Chardonnay, past tours have
included amenities such as luxurious
accommodations, unique excursions
to wineries and vineyards, gourmet
wine dinners, and additional rounds
of golf throughout the region.
"Chardonnay Golf Club has a lot to
offer, from a scenic and challenging
golf course and probably the best golf
instructional program in Northern
California to a nice dining facility
that uses the best in Napa Valley
products," said Anderson. "But the
one thing that stands out is the serv-
ice that they provide. I know that I
can either send golfers to the club or
the course, and my guests would be
very satisfied."
For the pre-set tours offered
through GolfVino, Anderson partners
with high-end wineries and courses
to provide golfers with the optimal
experience in both arenas.
Then, he plans and arranges each
aspect of the journey – from meals to
tee times and everything in be-
tween – to ensure that all guests need
to do is show up and be ready to
have a great time.
