W
ith parents and a brother who played
golf long before she was born, LPGA
Tour player Paige Mackenzie had al-
most no choice in learning how to
play – and love – the game at a very young age. Pair
that with her ultra-competitive spirit, and you've got
a world-class golfer on your hands. Mackenzie played
golf at the University of Washington, and when she
graduated in Business Administration in 2006, she
was the No. 1-ranked female amateur in the U.S. by
Golfweek. Since then, she's spent several successful
years on the Tour and, more recently, made a name for
herself as a commentator on Golf Channel. We sat
down with Mackenzie to find out what she thought
she wanted to be when she grew up (think finance!),
just exactly what it's like playing on the LPGA Tour,
and all about her gig on Golf Channel.
From learning as a young girl with her family to play-
ing on the LPGA Tour and working at Golf Channel,
golf has always been a major part of Mackenzie's life.
