INSIDE AMERICAN GOLF
FULL SWING AHEAD
Summer means fundraising, weddings, and golf
H
ere at American Golf, we're not only looking to
continually improve the quality of the golfing
experience for our guests, but also to make a
difference in our surrounding communities.
This constant goal is just one reason we're thrilled to have
recently helped raise more than $100,000 for the nationwide
First Tee program, which benefits youth by teaching life skills
within the realm of golf instruction. These fundraising efforts
came as a result of several successful golf tournaments over
the summer, and we'd like to thank those who not only
planned and coordinated the events, but also participated.
With the end of summer fast approaching, there's never
been a better time to take advantage of all that American Golf
courses have to offer, some of which you can read about in this
edition of the Insider.
For instance, we'll give you an inside look at El Dorado
Park Golf Course, home of the recently played Long Beach
Open. Also, teaching professional Steve Salas from Rancho
San Joaquin in Irvine shares his favorite fun practice drills
that will go a long way toward improving your game.
On a non-golf related note, don't miss the article about
military weddings – WeddinginWeeks.com is especially
perfect for military couples.
We wish you all best as you wrap up your summer plans
and dive into fall. Hope to see you on the course!
