GA WEST will once again be the epicenter of the
golf world January 18-21, 2024, when The American
Express brings the PGA Tour's top players to the
Coachella Valley for the 65th consecutive year. And
there are plenty of reasons to put this event on your
calendar, whether you're a fan of golf, music, great food and
drinks, or just having a little fun in the sun. Here's our top five:

THE STELLAR FIELD
While players haven't yet been announced, commitments
should begin trickling in soon. It's customary for the defending
champion to return for a victory lap, so expect Jon Rahm to be
among the stars making their way to the Pete Dye Stadium
Course and Nicklaus Tournament Course, as well as nearby
La Quinta Country Club. The Spaniard has won The AmEx
twice, and his rousing victory last January catapulted him to
a remarkable season that saw him win his second major
championship at the Masters just three months later.
Another highlight in the field will be local hero Michael Block,
the Orange County teaching professional who sent shockwaves
through the golf world last spring by contending – and gaining a
legion of new fans – at the PGA Championship.
